…wishes trekkies would calm the fuck down and enjoy the fact Benedict Cumberpatch, an awesome actor who is Sherlock & is the Necromancer in The Hobbit films, is playing Khan in Star Trek XII. It’s going to be good and yeah, Wrath of Khan is a glorious film, but XII will be pretty damn good too. I reckon. Also, not going to lie, I found the trek types who didn’t like XI (who are likely to be the same one who are wittering on about XII) incredibly dull about it - personally, you missed the point if you hated it. Trek as we know it is 20 years old (TNG/VOY/DS9) or more (TOS/TAS) - It was time for a reinvention and a injection of life into the series we love that’d been laid to rest by 2004, which was a crime - ENT had just gotten interesting by that point.
Dullards had the same view of TNG when that first came out and look what it became. Fuck the dull people - enjoy the fact lots of people are looking forward to the new film, looking forward to this amazing franchise and universe which we trekkies already appreciate.
